Glossary of terms
On this page you will find explanations for all English expressions that you can meet on our website.
- dimensions are given in inches and the width appears the most. The most common dimensions are 7.875, 8.0 and 8.125. Other sizes include 7.75 and wider 8.25 and 8.5. Most skateboard lengths are around 31 inches. To calculate in centimeters, multiply inches x 2.54 (cm)
- concave is the curvature of the board, and our boards have concave high and medium. You can find a comparison of these shapes (concave) in the detail of each plate
- each board consists of seven layers of quality Canadian maple, where the first layer (top) is made of colored veneer, another colored veneer is in the middle and the bottom covers the design of the board
- if you need a skateboard for children or beginner skaters, we recommend ready-made sets COMPLETES and a suitable plate size is 7.5
- trucks are axles that are screwed onto the skateboard board, and bearings and wheels are also attached to the trucks
- trucks are always sold in pairs on our e-shop
- trucks are again divided by width and each truck width fits a different board width, see below:

- the bushings are part of the truck and thanks to the nut on the screw (kingpin) on which the bushings are mounted, the truck's turning speed is adjusted. The more the mother tightens, the less the truck turns, the more the mother loosens, the greater the turning ability, but more experience is needed to ride such a skateboard.
- bushings have three hardnesses. Soft, medium and hard. Mediums are automatically added to Theeve trucks, but it is possible to change these bushings at will. For example, someone puts a different hardness in each truck, or combines bushings directly in the truck.

Skateboard bearings :
- in our distribution you will find the best bearings for a skateboard and they are manufactured by the Bones Bearings brand, which belongs to them Bones Reds and Bones Swiss. Another option is bearings MiniLogo
- instead of the traditional ABEC scale, Bones bearings use their own one called Skate Rated, and we attach information about what it is and then the actual distribution of the bearings:
- in the other hardware section you will find the necessary things to tighten or tighten everything on your skateboard
- in addition to the tools, you will also find a bearing cleaning set there
- screws and nuts in the set, with which you mount the trucks to the board
- this includes caps, beanies and other clothing
